Timberland PRO Men's 53531 Gravel Pit 10" Steel Toe Waterproof Boot,Black,11.5 M Review
Best boots I have ever owned, by far. I live in the peaks of the Appalachian Mtns. and I can say that these boots are put to good use every day. They do get a little cold due to the fact that I am walking through snow with steel toes but that is to be expected. However with some descent socks they are perfect. Amazing product and I would highly recommend to anyone.Read more >>

Retiring A Shoe - It's Not A JokeWhen a Shoe Reaches Its End
A strange topic understandably. Who would have believed that a shoe carries a lifespan. A athletic shoes I mean. Of course, whenever a shoe is torn and knackered it is easy to say that it's past its prime but an ordinary looking shoe, can it reach its end?
But the Shoe Looks Fine
One day, after completing my run, my Nike+ app signalled an alert. It flashed at me that I should retire my shoe! No way I thought, already. I had been running inside the same shoes and before I started while using app and thought there were nothing wrong using them. The warning came after 350 miles - ha, I had actually done a lot more than double that in those shoes. Great marketing ploy I thought (especially since I registered that I am using Nike shoes). So I continued to run inside the same shoes. But shortly after, I started having a pain inside my knee. I had similar pain in my other knee per month before but that went away after with regards to a week. Figured same would happen now.
Can a Shoe Cause Injury
As I continued running and resting, this would not disappear completely. Some days it will be very mild, others, severe. More interestingly, it kept moving to be able to places in the knee. I had read a little on the subject, and realize that many injuries may be overcom
