I have only been wearing these for about two weeks now but am very happy with the shoe so far. It required no breaking in period and unlike most steel toe shoes/boots, these actually have arch support and cushioning in them. I actually did a 40 minute speed walk in them after work one night and they were comfortable. The tongue is attached to the shoe so there's no issues with it sliding around. It's too early to know how they'll hold up in the long run but I'm hoping they last me around a year.Read more >>

Two new lightweight running shoes from Topo Athletic - National Fitness & Exercise | Examiner.comTopo Athletic has added two new ergonomically designed shoes to its distinct footwear that encourages natural movement: the Speed Trainer (ST) as well as the Mountain Trainer (MT).
The Speed Trainer (MSRP $90) is made for speed training (because name suggests), tempo runs and racing. The Mountain Trainer (MSRP $100) is made for trail running and light hiking.
'Athletes train both in urban and natural environments so it's important for us to offer lightweight versatile footwear which is rugged enough to get worn on the trail and the road,' said CEO Tony Post.
