These are incredible! I wore them all day walking, and they felt so natural and flexible. The provide excellent ankle support, and look like regular shoes with pants pulled over them. The "pewter" color is really nice, and it goes well with anything. I was a bit leery about getting some Timberland boots after having a major issue with some of their loafers (the sole wore out quickly, and the leather chipped on the inner heel right on a rivet and hurt my foot), but now I am convinced that they make truly great shoes. This model tends to run a bit large. I ordered a 10 US (even though my feet measure about 10.5") and that gave me enough room at the end of the boot (about 1/2"). I was able to wear these comfortably with some really thick, wool Timberland socks. The insoles are comfortable, the padding around the inside is breathable, and they are waterproof. I love the fact that they provide a lifetime warranty on their shoes, and GORE-TEX provides a lifetime warranty on their waterproofing. I didn't regret buying these, and I think they will last a long time. I'll update this after the winter if I encounter any issues. If you can pick these up under the retail price, they are definitely worth it. Even if you pay full retail, they are still the best boots around, and I wouldn't pick anything over these.Read more >>
