I owned this boot for over a year. I work as a surveyor, walking many miles a day. The boot remained comfortable the entire time. They were cut by a machete numerous times but never made it all of the way through the leather and some days emerged in swamp water all day and still maintained its comfortability. With all that I have done to them, submerging it in water all day, the miles that I put on them, and farm work the soles never tried to come apart. The boot is amazing for what I put it through.
