Throw Out Your Worn Out Running ShoesAlthough the title specifies running shoes, I'm scripting this with all types of tennis shoes in mind: jogging sneakers, walking shoes, sneakers, aerobics shoes, basketball shoes, etc. The principle is usually the same. For brevity, lets just talk about them for the most part as athletic shoes.
We all understand that athletic shoes have a limited lifespan. Most people, however, always wear them well after their useful life is finished. In my office, I normally will have people inform me that their shoes are many years old BUT (insert excuse here...). Some of my personal favorites, they can fit my feet perfectly (meaning it's categorised), the heel is worn out just how I like it (meaning it features a hole inside the shoe), new shoes just bother me (and therefore I've worn these for so long, the support is too different at this time), and the best: They still look new.
Yes, they still look new. When all that you do is run on the treadmill, make use of the elliptical, and some stationary bike, along with your shoes never start to see the light of day, obviously they look new. What's problematic will be the part you never see.
