This is my second pair of the Timberland Pro Rip Saw Soft Toe boots. I do not wear the same pair of boots day in and day out, so I usually get 2-3 pairs of the same boot when I find ones I like. That way the leather has a chance to air out and dry and lasts longer with occasional conditioning, as well. I had never worn Timberlands before. I wore my Marine Corps boots and since getting off active duty, have worn my Red Wings. As comfortable as my other boots are, the Timberland Pros are more so. After a long day, on my feet constantly on concrete floors, my feet are not tired or hurting. They seem to have better slip resistance. I did have to go down a half size from what I usually wear in my other boots and the Timberlands are a bit stiffer initially, but break in very well. I've only had them for about a month and a half so far, but they seem to be holding up well. I wear them for work and motorcycle riding. I also like the thicker heel and extra height it gives me when riding the bigger touring bikes.Read more >>
